Methodology

How the planned Operations Snapshot is intended to work.

The methodology below describes intended behavior for a future assessment. No assessment runs on this website today, and no result has been produced for anyone.

Six readiness dimensions

Process Clarity. Whether the work can be described consistently by the people who perform it.
SOP Readiness. Whether the process is close enough to a standard procedure to be documented well.
Training Readiness. Whether an approved procedure could reasonably become training material.
Integration Readiness. Whether the systems involved are known, named, and understood well enough to plan.
Agent Readiness. Whether the steps, limits, and stopping points are clear enough for assisted work.
Governance Readiness. Whether ownership, approval, and review responsibilities are established.

Applicable question scoring

Results are intended to be calculated only across questions that apply to the described workflow. A question that does not apply is intended to be excluded rather than counted as a failure, so a small process is not penalized for lacking steps it never needed.

Versioned methodology

Each future result is intended to record the methodology version used to produce it. When the method changes, older results remain readable in the terms they were created under instead of being silently reinterpreted.

Visible uncertainty

Where information is incomplete, the intent is to say so plainly rather than to estimate. Two explicit states are planned:

Unable to Verify. The question applies, but the available information does not support a conclusion.
Not Applicable. The question does not apply to the described workflow and is excluded from the result.

What will never be fabricated

An Operations Snapshot will not assert return on investment, cost savings, compliance status, security assurance, or technical feasibility that has not been examined. Recommendations are planning guidance, not guarantees.
